13lbs gone !

I am officially down 13lbs !! It has taken me forever to get motivated and stick to a plan. It has made the transition easier when I tell myself that I am cooking better for my family and teaching my kids good eating habits. Adam didn't like the idea of eating "healthier" but now he sees that healthy food can be really good is is liking all the changes around here. I am feeling pretty good about it too !  I am not doing anything drastic like skipping meals, I am simply eating healthier and moving more. Here are what my daily meals are like:

Breakfast: fruit and yogurt smoothie
    - Orange juice, fat free vanilla yogurt, mixed frozen berries blended together.

Snack- Yogurt ( fat free or low fat )

Lunch- Something like a tuna sandwich on wheat bread and a small salad or Spinach chicken Pizza  or a lean cuisine meal.

Snack- About 20 peanuts ( regular or roasted )

Dinner-  baked chicken breast with steamed veggies like broccoli and carrots, or asparagus.

Snack-  I'll have a cup of hot cocoa :) ( I know not the healthiest but it curbs my craving :)

and thats it for the day. I try not to eat after 6pm.
